Hi, I’m Nick

I was born and raised on punk-rock and skating in a place no one has heard of called Middletown, Ohio. I guess I am your typical mid-western, art-obsessed, straight-edge, punk-rock, all around nice guy… who also has a passion for Star Wars, vegan food, video games, rock climbing, and occasionally running 100 mile ultra-marathons through the desert. And, I have been lucky enough to become one of the go-to vegan, rock climbing tattoo artists in Vegas these last few years, which has been quite the honor.

After my apprenticeship, I drove from Ohio to Las Vegas where I have been blessed to tattoo with my best friends for the last 20 years! (I think anyone in the industry can appreciate how rare and awesome that is). Right as COVID hit, I bought a used Sprinter van that my wife and I have built out and turned into our little retro-coded dream. Now that it’s done, we have decided to take the leap (along with our cat, Fondue-Benoît) and hit the road full-time, starting June 1, 2026. Our plan is to spend the next two years traveling across the states, meeting new people, guest-spotting in cool shops, and living out our little nomadic version of van-life heaven. Our route will be based on the cool people and generous tattoo shops that have invited us to come spend time with them and learn about the places they call home. And along the way, we’ll share our adventures and stories with you from our podcast “Rose & Bones: Between Appointments,” where we will talk about van-life, tattooing, the cool places we are headed, and what we find when we get there.
